UNEXPLAINED, UNRESOLVED AND CONTROVERSIAL DISORDERS WITH COMPLEX MANIFESTATION OF CHRONIC PHYSICAL AND MENTAL-EMOTIONAL SYMPTOMS: HUNYUAN PERSPECTIVE AND CASE STUDIES

This research project is carried out by Marina Danilova in collaboration with Hunyuan Research Institute under supervision of Dr. Yaron Seidman

Rationale

Increasing number of chronic disorders with inflammatory and autoimmune implications induce moderate to severe physical and emotional suffering and can result in reduced participation in daily activities, yet often remain undiagnosed, unexplained and unresolved by biomedicine. Pain relievers, sleeping pills and anti-depressants are normally used to ease the symptoms. Because these are complicated illnesses, their management requires input from a variety of medical professionals. Due to its holistic approach and focus on an individual rather than a disease, Chinese medicine has potential advantages in helping people suffering from these conditions.

Objective

Using principles of Hunyuan medicine (Classical Chinese medicine) develop clinical methods and strategies to provide measurable benefits to patients with CFS (ME, SEID), FM, PTLDS or associated symptoms (see Scope).

Methodology

Multiple-case study with application of Hunyuan medicine
